Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath and other ministers of his cabinet paid floral tributes to Mahatma Gandhi, on his 155th birth anniversary on Wednesday.
Ahead of the third phase of elections in Jammu and Kashmir, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said that Jammu and Kashmir also has the right to development and cited the example of UP saying that only the double-engine government could bring prosperity to the Union Territory.
Adityanath instructed the officials to visit the affected areas, ensure that the relief work is carried out properly and provide required assistance to the affected people, as per a release.
"We have moved to a position where India economically, strategically, in terms of education, and in terms of its diaspora has come to the centre stage of the world," Awasthi said.
