Gorakhpur (Uttar Pradesh) [India], September 22 (ANI): Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Sunday held 'Janta Darbar' in Gorakhpur to address the grievances of the people.
Uttar Pradesh CM interacted with the women and listened to their grievances.
During the 'Janata Darshan', people presented a range of issues before the CM as he listened patiently and forwarded their letters to the concerned authorities present there and issued necessary directions for the speedy and satisfactory disposal of their issues while at the same time assuring people that no injustice would be done to anyone.
On Thursday, CM Yogi inaugurated a floating restaurant at Ramgarhtal in Gorakhpur district and distributed certificates to the allottees of the Greenwood apartment housing project.
During the restaurant's inauguration, CM Yogi highlighted that it would boost tourism in Gorakhpur.
Today, Gorakhpur is attracting every tourist. We are inaugurating a floating restaurant that will allow people to spend time with their families by the lake," CM Yogi said.
He added that the restaurant would also create employment opportunities. "People from Gorakhpur and eastern UP who work outside have a desire to find work closer to home," he said.
Regarding the Greenwood Apartment Residential Project, CM Yogi stated, "The apartment, covering 5 acres, will include 300 3-BHK flats and 189 4-BHK flats. Our goal is for these residents to move into their homes before Makar Sankranti 2027, so they can enjoy khichdi at home and share it with others."
CM Yogi highlighted Gorakhpur's transformation, saying, "Fifteen to twenty years ago, Gorakhpur was known for its underdevelopment. People hesitated to visit Ramgarh Tal. The fertilizer factory was closed, and traffic jams were a struggle. Today, roads have become four-lane and six-lane, the airport is the busiest, the fertilizer factory has reopened, and medical services have improved with AIIMS also providing services." (ANI)
