Several flights operating from Hyderabad's Rajiv Gandhi International Airport have been cancelled or diverted due to adverse weather conditions in Chennai and Tirupati caused by Cyclone Fengal.
"#6ETravelAdvisory: The weather conditions remain largely unchanged and continue to be unfavourable, with flights to/from #Chennai, #Tuticorin, #Madurai, #Tiruchirappalli & #Salem still impacted," the airline posted on X on Wednesday.

In an official press statement, Indigo said, "In line with our strict safety protocols, all necessary precautions are being taken, and we are working closely with the relevant authorities."
Two IndiGo flights operating from Hyderabad to Jodhpur and from Kolkata to Jaipur received bomb threats on Tuesday, prompting the airline to activate emergency protocols.
Major Indian airlines, including IndiGo, Vistara, and Akasa Air, reported bomb threats for both their international and domestic flights during this period.
