India's leading low-cost carrier, IndiGo, has announced the introduction of business class services for the first time since its inception. The announcement comes as the airline celebrates its 18th anniversary, marking a significant addition in its service offerings.
A senior official of the Airport Authority of India at Kushok Bakula Rimpochee Airport in Leh confirmed that on Tuesday, four flights--three Indigo and one SpiceJet--were cancelled due to ongoing weather conditions.
Indigo's revenue from operations during the April-June quarter rose 17.3 per cent to Rs 19,571 crore, the airline's earnings data released on Friday showed. In the same quarter of 2023, the revenue from operations was Rs 16,683 crore.
Air India has placed a total order of 250 aircraft from which 210 are for A320 and 40 for A350 wide body aircraft from which 6 A350 are already delivered, while IndiGo has ordered more than 1000 aircraft which includes 30 A350 state-of-the-art planes.

Meanwhile, cybersecurity firm Crowdstrike told US outlet NBC that it suffered a major outage on Friday impacting businesses globally. The outage resulted from an issue with the latest update, the company said. CrowdStrike is now in the process of rolling back that update globally, it said
