Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami on Wednesday conducted a surprise inspection of the police headquarters in Dehradun and took stock of the women's safety helpline operated from the police headquarters and various activities being conducted by the police.

According to an official release from the Chief Minister's Office (CMO), "CM Dhami gave strict instructions to the officers to make the law and order of the state tight and proper and to effectively control the crimes."
The federal agency conducted these raids on August 30 in Dehradun in Uttarakhand, Saharanpur and Bijnor in Uttar Pradesh, Ludhiana in Punjab, Bongaigaon in Assam, and Delhi, under the provisions of the Prevention of Money Laundering Act (PMLA), 2002.
