On Saturday, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath paid tribute to army personnel martyred in the line of duty in the Sikkim truck mishap and announced to provide ex-gratia of Rs 50 lakhs to the families of all the deceased.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday expressed grief at the loss of lives in a brick kiln blast in Bihar's Motihari and announced an ex-gratia of Rs 2 lakh from the Prime Minister's National Relief Fund (PMNRF) to the next of the kin of each deceased.

The father of deceased Sagar Dhankhar on Tuesday withdrew petition seeking cancellation of interim bail granted to Sushil Kumar from the Delhi High court. Sushil was granted interim bail on the grounds of the treatment of his wife. He had surrendered on November 13.
As of now according to police sources, eight body pieces of the deceased, Saroj Sharma (65) have been recovered and the accused has been sent to the police remand till December 20.
