IIT Delhi develops affordable COVID-19 testing kit

New Delhi, Apr 25 (ANI): While country continues to struggle with COVID-19 cases, researchers at IIT Delhi’s Kusuma School of Biological Sciences developed affordable testing kit. Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) has approved the testing kit. “By the end of Jan we realised that COVID-19 is going to become a global problem and will hit India, so we thought we should start working on it as we would need affordable diagnostics,” said professor Vivekanandan Perumal.
