Jaipur (Rajasthan), July 23 (ANI): Women celebrated festival of ‘Sawan Teej’ in Rajasthan’s Jaipur with fervour on July 23. Teej is celebrated in the northern part of India. It is known by various names in different regions such as-Hariyali Teej, Sawan Teej, Shravani Teej etc. Women celebrated by singing folk songs, dancing and performing all rituals on this day. They offered prayers and worshipped ‘Tulsi’ (holy basil) on this auspicious occasion.
