With 54,044 new cases, India’s COVID tally crosses 76 lakh mark

New Delhi, Oct 21 (ANI): With 54,044 new COVID-19 cases, the infection has now affected 76,51,108 people in India on October 21. As many as 717 deaths were reported in the last 24 hours, taking the toll to 1,15,914. Total active cases stands 7,40,090, after a decrease of 8448 in last 24 hours. According to Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR), total 9,72,00,379 samples tested for COVID-19 up to 20th October. Of these, 10,83,608 samples were tested yesterday (October 20).
