Winter theatre play provides platform to budding artists in Srinagar

Srinagar (J&K), Feb 24 (ANI): To revive old traditional plays and encourage budding artists in the Valley, a winter theatre play was organised in Srinagar on Februay 24. The play was organised by Actors Creative Theatre (ACT) in collaboration with the Jammu and Kashmir Academy of Art Culture and Languages (JKAACL). Theatre plays like these are not just helping the young artists to hone their skills but is also helping many performers to reduce their mental stress. “We present entertainment through theatre. An eventually, we realise the purpose of life. Be it Chillai Kalan or any season, through these theatre activities, we get new energy”, says writer Gulshan Badrani.
