Wearing face masks to be made mandatory in Rajasthan: CM Gehlot

Jaipur (Rajasthan) October 27 (ANI): To prevent the spread of corona infection, the state government is considering making it mandatory to wear masks in the state. Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot announced this while having a dialogue with District Collectors, college principals, Municipal Corporation, Municipal council officials and others on the success of the ongoing campaign ‘No Mask-No -Entry-Public Movement against Corona’ in the state. For this, the bill will be brought in the upcoming assembly session. The CM Gehlot said that COVID-19 can be prevented only by adopting measures such as wearing masks, maintaining a distance of two yard and washing hands repeatedly until the vaccine comes. During the dialogue, CM Gehlot urged that every section of the society should join the government with full commitment to make this campaign successful of the state. He said that this campaign will not be fully successful in its purpose until there is awareness among the public that if the person not wearing a mask is infected, he can spread the infection to another person. He called upon the cadets and volunteers associated with NCC, NSS and Nehru Yuva Kendra Sangathan to participate in connecting people with this ambitious campaign to defeat Corona.
