Jaipur (Rajasthan) Feb 03 (ANI): Reviewing the Sports and Youth Affairs at his residence in Jaipur, Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot said that the state government took several major decisions in the last two years to promote sports and sportspersons in the state. The CM said that it is his government’s aim that Rajasthan achieve special recognition at the national and international level. He instructed the officials to make service rules for taking the services of sports coaches. After this, the services of about 500 best coaches can be availed in the state. The CM also instructed that efforts should be made to complete the budget announcements made for the sports at the earliest, so that players can get their proper benefits on time. The Chief Minister underlined that the sports talent of the state has the potential to perform well at the national and international level, and for that they should get good training, necessary facilities and opportunities to grow. Efforts should be made to increase the trend of youth towards sports in villages and towns, and they should receive excellent coaching at school level itself, the Chief Minister added.
