Voting for local body polls underway in Gujarat

Ahmedabad/ Vadodara (Gujarat), Feb 21 (ANI): The voting for local body elections is underway in Gujarat on February 21. The locals came at Mirambika School polling station in Naranpura area of Gujarat’s Ahmedabad to cast their votes. Security personnel have been deployed in large numbers to maintain the law and order situation during polling. On the other side, the booth level officials did final rehearsals of polling at Kelavani School in Akota area of Gujarat’s Vadodara. The elections to the civic corporations were due in December last year, but were postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
