Lucknow (Uttar Pradesh), Dec 16 (ANI): Basic Education Minister of Uttar Pradesh, Satish Dwivedi, on December 15 invited Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal and deputy CM Manish Sisodia to visit the schools in UP, after the AAP convener announced his party will contest the 2022 assembly elections, and promised world class schools in the state. He said, “In Delhi, there're 1024 govt schools for Class 1-12. In UP, there're at least 2,000 schools for Class 1-8 even in smallest district. I can only feel pity for intellect of whoever is comparing state of 1024 schools with state of 1.59 lakh schools. Only in a few schools have smart classes (in Delhi), that too set up with the help of Tata, Adani & Ambai groups. Only one school has swimming pool. Delhi govt spends all the money on advertisements & shows as if all schools have swimming pools.” “I invite Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal and his deputy Manish Sisodia to visit schools in Uttar Pradesh. It will open their eyes. They want to enter the politics of UP with this issue,” he added. Earlier, Delhi CM announced that his party (AAP) will contest UP assembly elections in 2022.
