New Delhi, Oct 08 (ANI): Union Law and Justice Minister Ravi Shankar Prasad held a press conference on October 08 in Delhi over police used force on BJP workers during 'March to Nabanna' protest. Condemning the force by the police over BJP workers, Prasad said that All India Trinamool Congress and state Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee's political ground is slipping and there is no space of opposition in the state. "BJP strongly condemns barbaric treatment by Bengal Police of senior party leaders. We would like very politely say to Mamata Ji and TMC, by using Police and lathis you won't succeed in stopping BJP's expansion. Around 1500 BJP workers have been injured," said Prasad. Earlier, BJP workers held 'Nabanna Chalo' agitation at Howrah Bridge over the murders of its workers in the state. Police used water cannons and also lathi-charged to disperse Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) workers who were protesting at Howrah Bridge.
