Unlock 2.0: J&K reopens for tourism with guidelines

Srinagar, July 15 (ANI): Phased re-opening of tourism began in J&K from July 14. They have allowed tourists to visit Kashmir with guidelines amid coronavirus pandemic. Now, tourism is expected to come back on track in Valley after over 4 months. While speaking to ANI, the Director of Kashmir Tourism, Nisar Ahmad Wani said, “In 1st phase, tourists arriving by air who have confirmed hotel bookings and return tickets will be allowed.” “They will have to undergo mandatory COVID-19 test on arrival,” he added. There are over 4500 active cases of COVID-19 in J&K.
