Unlock 1.0: Textile markets re-open in Surat

Surat (Gujarat), June 02 (ANI): Textile markets in Gujarat’s Surat reopened on June 02 amid unlock 1.0. Markets were allowed to open following relaxations in phased reopening of COVID-19-induced lockdown. Shopkeepers of Shree Mahavir Textile Market are happy as shops get opened after almost 2 months. While speaking to ANI, a businessman, Dinesh Katariya said, “All precautionary measures have been taken. We have installed automatic hand sanitizers, sanitizing tunnels. Thermometer guns are being used to check temperature.” 17,200 confirmed cases of coronavirus have been reported in Gujarat so far.
