Union Cabinet recommends President’s rule in Puducherry

New Delhi, Feb 24 (ANI): Information and Broadcasting Minister Prakash Javadekar has recommended President’s rule in Puducherry, days after V Narayanasamy’s resignation from chief ministerial post. “In Puducherry, the CM has resigned and nobody has claimed to form the govt & therefore the LG has recommended suspending the 14th Assembly. Now, our approval will be sent to the President. After his approval, the Assembly will stand dissolved,” said Javadekar during Union Cabinet briefing on February 24.
