Undergo isolation, take home Rs 2,000 in Odisha’s Jajpur

Jajpur (Odisha), Jun 29(ANI): Under state government’s scheme, Rs. 2000 was distributed per head to all people who completed the full isolation period in Odisha’s Jajpur on June 29. The money has been transferred directly to the bank accounts of around 144 people. Jajpur Collector Ranjan Kumar Das on the reason behind the incentive said, “To encourage people to register and undergo compulsory quarantine, the incentive was declared by government. No loss is made to them as they will not be able to do any manual work in the quarantine period.”
