To prevent elephants’ movement into populated zone, favourable vegetation to be planted

Rudrapur (Uttarakhand), Feb 06 (ANI): To prevent elephants from crossing over human habitable zones, the Terai Central Forest Division will plant vegetation favoured by the animals, in Rudrapur. Plenty of food items and water will be placed by forest division in the jungle. This will reduce the movement of elephants in populated areas and hence avoid accidents.
