Tidal bore in WB's East Midnapore creates havoc in lives of people

East Midnapore (West Bengal), Aug 22 (ANI): A tidal bore was witnessed in Digha coast in West Bengal's East Midnapore. Police is patrolling in coastal areas to alert locals and tourists. High tide in the Rupnarayan River which is connected with Bay of Bengal, has led to waterlogging in around 12 villages of Ramnagar area. Daily lives of people have been halted as water has filled in the area and houses of people till waist level. Earlier, similar situation happened in 2007.
