Jaipur (Rajasthan) October 16 (ANI): A state-level teacher felicitation ceremony was organized in Jaipur, Rajasthan to honour 849 teachers for their outstanding services. Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot felicitated them through video conferencing.On this occasion, CM also started the e-class program to keep children connected with quality education amid the coronavirus crisis and released a ‘No-bag day’ brochure. With this Rajasthan has become the first state to have taken such a unique initiative through the 'e-class project'. Addressing the gathering, the Chief Minister said that teachers are the architects of a better society. Through their guidance, teachers instil life as well as democratic values , such as secularism, unity, integrity, social harmony, so that our future generations can build a better nation. The Chief Minister said that the state government wants to give good governance through sensitive, transparent and accountable governance. The role of teachers is very important in this. He said that the teachers have served as dedicated corona warriors during the COVID-19 pandemic.
