Talks only solution, no point in intensifying protest: Union Minister to farmers

New Delhi, Dec 13 (ANI): With farmers' unions adamant on their demand of repealing the three new farm laws despite six rounds of talks with the government, Union Minister of State for Commerce, Som Parkash who was in the three-minister team discussing amendments with farmers to build a consensus, said that the central government is ready for the talks and there is no point in intensifying the agitation. He said, “There are different sets of demand by various farmer unions. The government is ready for talks. There is no point in intensifying the agitation. Whatever the issue is, discussion is the only solution.”
