Surat’s 10th standard students discover ‘asteroid-HLV2514’

Surat (Gujarat), July 29 (ANI): Two school students from Gujarat have discovered an earth bound asteroid. Vaidehi Vekariya and Radhika Lakhani are 10th standard students from Surat’s PP Savani School. They have named the asteroid-HLV2514. This object was discovered as a part of All India Asteroid Search Campaign. It is presently near Mars and is expected to cross earth in future. While speaking to ANI, Vaidehi said, “We discovered this object as a part of All India Asteroid Search Campaign (AIASC). It is presently near Mars and is expected to cross earth in future.”
