Kathmandu (Nepal), Feb 19 (ANI): The sudden rise in petrol prices amid political uncertainty looming large in the country, students in Nepal hit the streets in capital Kathmandu. Students affiliated with All Nepal National Free Students Union raised anti-government slogans and demanded the state owned Nepal Oil Corporation to rollback the petrol prices. The petrol prices were revised along with the cooking gas on February 10. The Petrol now costs Nepali rupees 114 per litre whereas diesel costs Rs. 97 per litre. The students allege Nepal Oil Corporation for being reluctant to reduce prices even as the fuel prices drop in the international market.
