New Delhi, Oct 01 (ANI): A virtual meeting of Ministry of Environment was held on October 01 on issues related to air pollution and stubble burning. Union Environment Minister, Prakash Javadekar said, “At meeting, it was highlighted that good air days increased to 182 in 2019 from 108 in 2016 and bad air days reduced to 183 from 246 in 2016. Pusa institute has developed a machine for stubble decomposition, trial of which will be conducted in states.” State environment ministers of Delhi, Punjab, Rajasthan, Haryana, UP and secretaries of pollution control boards along with representatives of DDA, NDMC were present.
