New Delhi, Feb 24 (ANI): Speaking on the first anniversary of riots in northeast Delhi, city’s Commissioner of Police S. N. Shrivastava said that the steps taken by Delhi Police to bring back normalcy have worked as no riots took place in past one year in the region. He also asserted that there has been decrease in the crime rate too. We (Delhi Police has conducted various programs of community outreach to bring back normalcy in northeast, Delhi. Lodged complaints of every complainant, almost 755 complaints have been lodged to stop the similar incident. 1800 people have been arrested in regards to the riots.),” he said.
