State government to make life saving injection available to needy: CM Gehlot

Jaipur (Rajasthan), July 27 (ANI): Every serious corona patient in the state will be provided with the life saving injection Tocilizumab and Plasma therapy. Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot announced this during the review meeting on the status of corona infection in the state. During the meeting, CM said that the injection which cost around 40 thousand rupees is out of reach of poor people. In such a situation, the health department would ensure availability of this injection to every needy and the government will immediately sanction sufficient funds for this. He said that plasma therapy and Tocilizumab injection can save life of a serious corona patient, which has been successfully used in SMS hospital in Jaipur. He instructed the concerned officer to ensure availability of plasma therapy and life saving injection as per the requirement in the SMS hospital as well as all medical colleges and district hospitals of the state.In the meeting, CM said that the life of all the citizens is precious for the state government and saving the lives of people from COVID-19 in the priority of the government.
