SSR’s death case: Zaid Vilatra’s statement taken by force, says lawyer

Mumbai, Sep 03 (ANI): Lawyer for Zaid Vilatra, Tarak Sayyad on September 03 said that the statements were taken forcefully by the Narcotics Control Bureau from Zaid. He said, “According to them (NCB), it's written in the statement that he was supplying drugs to other people and they want to investigate who they are. His statements are not true and involuntary, they were taken by force.” Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) brought Zaid Vilatra to Esplanade Court in Mumbai on Sep 03. He was arrested on Sep 02 in connection with Sushant Singh Rajput’s death case. Zaid got arrested after his drug chats involving Rhea Chakraborty surfaced online.
