Srisailam Reservoir’s gate opened as water level reached its full capacity in Kurnool

Kurnool (Telangana), Sept 06 (ANI): One crust gate of the Srisailam Reservoir in Kurnool was opened by 10 feet on September 06. Irrigation officials have lifted 1 of the 12 crust gates to release water downwards to Nagarjuna Sagar. The reservoir’s FRL is 885 feet and gross storage capacity is 215.81 TMC. Water level in the reservoir reached its full capacity.
