Srinagar’s Dachigam National Park remains unaffected despite COVID crisis

Srinagar, June 02 (ANI): Despite the lockdown in the view of coronavirus pandemic, Srinagar’s Dachigam National Park authorities are providing food to animals according to their diet chart, and the facility’s operations remain the same. The National Park workers, however, are taking every precautionary measure to avoid spread of coronavirus infection. Staff members who are working at the rehabilitation center and providing food to wildlife are wearing specific personal protective equipment (PPE) including gloves, masks and goggles aimed to protect from any virus or diseases. “We have three leopards here, we monitored their health via their style of eating, diet is the important measure to keep them healthy,” said the Veterinary Doctor, Umar Nazir.
