Srinagar lights up with hi-tech street lights

Srinagar (J&K), Jul 29 (ANI): Post abrogation of Article 370, several development projects have been started in the Kashmir Valley. The Centre has taken initiative to make Srinagar a ‘smart city’. Taking a step forward, Srinagar Municipal Corporation (SMC) has installed hi-tech street lights in various parts of the city. During COVID-19 lockdown, the municipal corporation worked on installing street lights as the people were facing problem while commuting during night. These lights are more durable and give more lighting making visibility better. People appreciated this step taken by the government. They also demand installation of more lights in inner sides for the benefit of the people. Abrogation of Article 370 has opened several gates for development in J&K. These development projects will also give job opportunities to Kashmiris.
