Panchkula (Haryana), Nov 09 (ANI): Country is dipped in festive mood ahead of Diwali, however, ban on firecrackers has irked many. Haryana has given some relief, as the state allowed use of firecrackers between 8 pm till 10 pm on Diwali. Traders now have some respite to avoid losses. One of the shopkeepers said, “If they had to ban, then it should have been done 3-6 months back. We have our license made the government should not make our license. We are happy in whatever decision they take, we cannot challenge it.” In order to combat double whammy of pollution and COVID-19, a few state governments have imposed ban on selling and bursting of crackers.
