Skill training to Kashmiri youth helps to fight Covid-19

Ganderbal (J&K), Jul 27 (ANI): Ever since Jammu and Kashmir became a Union Territory after the abrogation of Article 370, doors to various opportunities have been opened for Kashmiri youth. They are getting training for skill development and it has become their source of their livelihood. The initiative was started under Pradhan Mantri Kaushal Vikas Yojana (PMKVY). In J&K’s Ganderbal, skill development institution is providing training to Kashmiris in cutting and tailoring. With the help of this training, youths can get jobs or can even start their own business. With their skill and talent, the Kashmiris have come forward during COVID-19 outbreak. They are making PPE Kits and masks for the medical staff.
