Siliguri Metropolitan Police enforces ‘soft punishment’ for people not wearing masks

Siliguri (West Bengal), Jul 11(ANI): In order to ensure people use masks on the roads, the health department advised the Siliguri Metropolitan Police to enforce 'soft punishment ' for the offenders. ‘Wear Mask’ campaign in city is being practiced in the city with full dedication. The police have already launched crackdown in Siliguri against those who are not using masks. The soft punishment is waiting for 2 – 2 hours 30 minutes. People with medical emergency are exempted.
