Siliguri holds cricket tournament for visually-impaired players

Siliguri (WB), Feb 28 (ANI): Siliguri on February 28 witnessed a cricket tournament wherein visually-impaired players portrayed their talent and love for the sport. Organised by Uttarer Dishari NGO, match was played at Siliguri’s Dabgram Maidan. 4 cricket teams from North Bengal took part in this 1-day knock out tournament. Tournament was held to encourage visually-impaired players to take part in sport events and boost their morale. Players were extremely happy and requested for more such tournaments. Match witnessed spectators in large numbers who gathered to encourage these players.
