Amritsar (Punjab), July 28 (ANI): Few Sikh families who migrated from Afghanistan to India demand citizenship. Most of the families claim that they came to India in 1990s and since then they have to keep renewing their visas to stay in India. According to a migrant Surbir Singh, the procedure of renewing visas is difficult amid COVID-19 pandemic and hence, they request Prime Minister Narendra Modi to provide them Indian citizenship.
