‘Shripad Naik is in stable condition’: Rajnath Singh

Panaji (Goa), Jan 12 (ANI): Speaking on the health condition of Union Minister of State for AYUSH, Shripad Naik, who met with an accident on January 11, Union Defence Minister Rajnath Singh on January 12, informed mediapersons that his condition is stable, and as per doctors, he doesn't seem to be in any danger as of now. He said, “I'd spoken to Goa CM after the accident, PM had spoken to him too. PM had then called me up & expressed his distress. He then asked me to come here (Goa), I was thinking the same. Shripad Naik, is stable, doctors say that he doesn't seem to be in any danger as of now.” “Doctors have spoken to AIIMS Director (Delhi), a team will come here & consult with the doctors. If needed, he might be taken to Delhi for treatment. It depends on the doctors here,” he added. On Jan 11, Naik was injured after his car met with an accident in Karnataka’s Ankola town, unfortunately, Naik’s wife died in the accident. Naik’s personal assistant also died in the accident.
