Several farmers across country back Centre’s farm bills

Prayagraj (UP)/Muzaffarpur (Bihar)/Rohtak (Haryana), Sep 20 (ANI): While protests have erupted against Centre’s agriculture reform bills, several farmers are in favour. Rajya Sabha on September 20 passed the Farmers’ and Produce Trade and Commerce (Promotion and Facilitation) Bill, 2020 and Farmers (Empowerment and Protection) Agreement on Price Assurance and Farm Services Bill, 2020 amid ruckus. Farmers in Prayagraj came out in support of farm bills and said that it will benefit the farmers’ yields. Group of farmers in Rohtak said that bill has brought relief for the farmers. Muzaffarpur farmers also backed government.
