Servicing of Indian Army equipments underway in Ladakh region

Leh (Ladakh), Sep 15 (ANI): Indian Army troops are fully prepared to serve in extreme weather conditions in Ladakh region. Servicing of equipments, including the Bofors guns are being carried out by army engineers. The task of technical store group is to provide the repair technicians with spares ranging from a firing pin to the engine assembly of a tank. Mobile Spares Bin Laurie is used to send spares, equipments to the troops deployed at forward posts of Ladakh region. Lt. Colonel Preeti Kanwar said, "A very important part of repair is the spares and components used in it. The task of technical store group is to provide the repair technicians with a firing pin to the engine assembly of a tank, we provide them all. This is mobile spares bin Laurie which is used to send spares to the troops deployed at the forward posts. Similar Lauries are deployed in forward areas and are providing all required equipments to repair technicians."
