Srinagar (Jammu and Kashmir), Oct 04 (ANI): Government organised cocoon auction in Srinagar to help sericulture farmers amid COVID-19 pandemic. Auction has been launched by the Sericulture Department in the Kashmir division. Due to fewer buyers in the auction this year due to COVID, the Government has decided that Jammu and Kashmir Industries (JKI) Limited would be procuring top quality cocoons. The auction takes place every year, attracting buyers from across the country. Kashmiri silk is very popular across the world owing to its pure quality.
