Security measures heightened in Jammu ahead of Republic Day

Jammu, Jan 25 (ANI): Ahead of Republic Day, security measures have been heightened in Jammu. Special search drives are being taken out by Jammu and Kashmir Police to clear vulnerable areas. Recently tunnels have been detected by Border Security Force (BSF) along the border and also there have been recoveries of ammunition by drone. “We conduct search ops in interior areas daily. Some posts have been set up at nakas. Search is going on in all those areas where there could be possibility of terrorists hiding,” Wasim Hamdani of J&K Police told ANI.
