Sahibganj encounter: Jharkhand CM Soren pays tribute to ASI Chandra Rai Soren

Ranchi (Jharkhand), July 19 (ANI): Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren on July 19 paid floral tribute to Assistant sub-inspector (ASI) Chandra Rai Soren, who succumbed to injuries in an encounter with criminals in Sahibganj district of Jharkhand. Chief Minister Hemant Soren paid homage before sending Chandra Rai Soren's body to his native village. On June 27, a police encounter with criminals took place in Sahibganj district, Chandra Rai Soren was also a part of the police team. He was seriously injured in a shootout between the criminals and the police. He was referred to the hospital and but lost the battle of life on July 19 and succumbed to injuries.
