Russian infant, with history of 2 cardiac arrests, undergoes critical heart surgery in Chennai

Chennai, July 29 (ANI): A three-year-old Russian boy, who was bedridden for one year, recovered after successful critical heart implant in Chennai. Lev Fedorenko had already suffered two cardiac arrests. He suffered from a heart condition called restrictive cardiomyopathy. Hospital doctor said Germany-based engineers helped them to fix two tiny external heart pumps in the child's chest, the pump are only made in Germany by a company called Berlin Heart. After all complications doctors declared him fit for discharge.
