RT-PCR negative test report mandatory for travelers coming from Kerala, Maharashtra to enter Rajasthan

Jaipur (Rajasthan) February 26 (ANI): The Chief Minister of Rajasthan Ashok Gehlot has announced that people traveling from Kerala and Maharashtra to Rajasthan will require a negative report of RT-PCR test to enter the state in view of the rising number of COVID-19 cases in those states. Chief Minister Gehlot took the decision while reviewing the status of COVID-19 infection in the state. The CM said that the state government gave relaxation in business and social activities after COVID infection came under control due to the efficient management of the government. However, he asserted that some people are not seriously complying with the COVID protocol.In view of the arising situation, he has instructed officials to conduct awareness campaigns across the state from the first week of March.While reviewing the COVID vaccination drive, CM Gehlot said that although Rajasthan is the leading state, efforts should be made to achieve the 100 percent target. Along with removing the misconceptions of vaccination among the people, beneficiaries should be made aware of its benefits.
