New Delhi, Jan 27 (ANI): At World Economic Forum, Union Agriculture Minister Narendra Singh Tomar said, “As far as agriculture is concerned, we are also laying emphasis on Research and Development for production and productivity. It is our effort to see that the crop can be managed in a proper manner after harvesting. Today, India is superlative as far as food-grain is concerned but sometimes due to lack of infrastructure, crop gets damaged which also affects environment. To combat this, Rs 1 lakh crores has been announced in AatmaNirbhar Bharat package for building of infrastructure,” said Narendra Singh Tomar. He further said, “India is concerned due to the climate change. Our effort in this direction is to make plans beforehand and work, while keeping in mind the indications for future so that we will be able to combat the crisis of the future.”
