RPSC, RSSB should complete recruitment processes in time-bound manner: CM Gehlot

Jaipur (Rajasthan) September 21 (ANI): Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot emphasised that the Rajasthan Public Service Commission (RPSC) and the Rajasthan Staff Selection Board (RSSB) should complete recruitments of the Rajasthan administrative services (RAS), various other state services or the subordinate services in a timely manner as per the calendar. The CM was reviewing the recruitments under process in various departments through a video conference. He said that recruitment advertisement should be taken out on time like the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC), examination and interview should be held on time so that entire process of selections for jobs would not remain pending for a long time. He said that the recruiting agencies should not take much time in holding examinations once the requisitions are received from any department and the selection results too should be declared as per the schedule. The Chief Minister said that many times recruitments got stuck due to obstacles in service rules. In such a situation, the concerned department should take cognizance of the facts to resolve the matter suitably on urgent basis including amendment in the service rules, if required.The Chief Minister also directed the officials to organise REET examination on time. In the meeting, present status of recruitments in Education, Health, Women & Child Development, Rural Development and Panchayati Raj, Agriculture, Revenue, and other departments was discussed in detail.
