Rescue ops halted in Chamoli after water level rises of Rishiganga River

Chamoli (Uttarakhand), Feb 11 (ANI): Rescue operations in Chamoli district have been temporarily halted after water level of Rishiganga river rose. JCB machines, and other rescue teams were seen exiting the tunnel in Joshimath. Several disaster management agencies including NDRF, SDRF and even ITBP are on the ground to evacuate people who were swept after flash floods were triggered following a glacier burst in Chamoli.
