New Delhi, December 11 (ANI): Ravindra Kumar Jain has taken over as Managing Director of Dedicated Freight Corridor Corporation of India limited (DFCCIL). Ravindra Kumar Jain is a 1986 batch officer of the Indian Railway Service of Engineers and has served in key posts of the Indian Railways including the Civil Engineering Department. He has masters in the construction of mega engineering projects. In the year 2018, he was selected as the outstanding DRM which is a huge achievement. DFCCIL is rapidly constructing a freight corridor in the country. Modern technology is being used in the construction of freight corridors. Under the Eastern Freight Corridor, 1875 km of railway lines are being laid from Ludhiana to Sonnagar and Sonnagar to Danakuni. While the work of laying 1506 km long railway line from Dadri to JNPT is being done under the Western Freight Corridor. Under this, modern traction sub-stations have been established for the operation of trains. Under the leadership of Ravindra Jain, DFCCIL is poised to touch new heights and all the mega projects of the Railways are set be completed soon.
