‘Ravana’ effigy burnt in J&K’s Kathua amid pandemic

Kathua (J&K), Oct 26 (ANI): As the country is celebrating Dusshera on October 25, Ravana effigies were burnt across country. Ravana effigy was burnt in Jammu and Kashmir’s Kathua. Dussehra celebrations were carried out in a simpler way due to the COVID pandemic. The festival marks victory of good over evil as per Hindu mythology. Dussehra is also known as Vijayadashami.
